Mass Effect Tweak Guide [Page 8] Advanced Tweaking (Pt.2) BIOEngine.ini (Cont.) [SystemSettings] StaticDecals=True. Static decals are markings or posters in the game world which are placed on surfaces as decoration by the developers, and are not created by players. Mass Effect and texture streaming. Need some help pls I'm having some small hickups here and there when entering new area which is kinda annoying, its not that bad but fps jumps from steady 62 to 52 and back again.some times only to 58, but i still see this stutter for a split second. Its a bit better with bSmoothFrameRate=False, but i still see those dips to 50ish fps when entering new areas. I've 'tweaked' a bit in engine.ini file, dunno its a bit better but still its not it. Soul calibur 2 rom ps2. This is what ive changed/added [Engine.GameEngine] DepthBias=0.012000 (was 0.030 but it eliminated most of the face shadows) MaxShadowResolution=1024 (was 512) [Engine.Physics] NxPrimarySceneHW=True (was false, adds extra debris/decal effects) [Engine.Client] MinDesiredFrameRate=56.000000 (was 35, but didnt see a diff. Still dips below this number) [ALAudio.ALAudioDevice] MaxChannels=128 (was 32 i think) DeviceName= [SystemSettings] OnlyStreamInTextures=TRUE(was false) Trilinear=TRUE (was false) MaxAnisotropy=8 (was 4) OneFrameThreadLag=TRUE (from ut3) EnableHighPolyChars=TRUE (from ut3) [TextureStreaming] PoolSize=158 (was 140, i used 158 from ut3) [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] BIOPixelShaderVersion=ps_4_0 (was 3.0) BIOVertexShaderVersion=vs_4_0 (was 2.0, i didnt see a diff though either on 3 or 4 so im used 4 lol) what are these could tweaking this 2 help? Scuba dj kicks rar 320 market. If you’re looking for an over-the-range microwave for your kitchen, browse our styles, sizes and colors to find the right one for you. Whirlpool also offers countertop microwaves for quick and easy cooking if you don’t need the built-in ventilation, or your kitchen space will not accommodate a microwave over the range. If memory serves, having bSmoothFrameRate set to 'False', should remove the 62 fps cap and theoretically increase the possibiliy of stuttering. From what you've said, it appears that you're capped at 62, so are you sure that variable is set to 'false'? And if so, would gameplay not be smoother if you set it to 'True'? With the exception of the bUseTextureStreaming variable (setting it to false prevents textures from loading at all), I don't think any of the other streaming commands had any effect on U3 engine PC games. I thought they were mainly for the console versions (you probably know that the.ini files are full of things that have no effect on the PC version). Also, if you set the bSmoothFrameRate set to 'True', you could then try playing around with the MinSmoothedFrameRate and MaxSmoothedFrameRate variables also. If you haven't already, try Koroush's guide over at Tweakguides as it covers much of this in detail: StannieDum. Cool tnx for the tips my disk is defraged i use diskeeper for it and it has 16mb cache so i think disk isn't to slow it scores 5.9 in win7 lol @ Stannie yea its smooth without the 62 cap, when the streaming/loading of next part occurs it drops from 100 to 52 for a sec and then back it looked smoother to me, than when i used actual smoothing with 62fps cap, because those micro stutters kinda destroyed its functionality and making it worse at least it felt so when i looked around while it streamed next parts. Yes i checked and helped with those tweaks from tweakguides, tnx anyway:nerd: @NiukNiuk cool sounds very interesting tnx gonna try that. Mass Effect performance issues?! I've never experienced a thing of the sort. Maybe reinstall, start from scratch?
